About Grand Spinn
Both Grand Spinn and Grand Spinn Superpot are 3-reel, 3-row and 1 line video slots from the highly-skilled folks at NetEnt. These games are designed in a style that point to the glamorous and glitzy age of art deco that NetEnt’s been fond of in recent times, as both Turn Your Fortune and Cash-O-Matic are styled in this fashion.
Whilst the games aren’t packed with a massive amount of features, Grand Spinn does offer multiple, high paying jackpots along with multiplier wilds and an exciting nudge feature to keep your adrenaline pumping and the excitement flowing at all times.
Furthermore, the Grand Spinn Superpot version offers a local progressive jackpot that should appeal to players who are on the hunt for massive and potentially life-changing wins!
Grand Spinn Game Tutorial
One of the first things that may become evident to players is that there are blank spaces on Grand Spinn’s reel-set. This may be recognisable to those who have played another of NetEnt’s slots where they are also utilised – Spinsane.
Whilst the addition of these blank spaces may seem detrimental to gameplay at first, it’s understandable why they have been introduced when considering the other features that are also in play.
Before we go on to explain these features, we should mention the symbols that you can expect to come across when playing Grand Spinn and Grand Spinn Superpot. The classic fruit symbols are present here: bars, cherries, plums, oranges and watermelons. The highest paying of all, however, is a trio of lucky sevens that offers 20x your stake when they land on all 3 reels.
In addition to these, there are also the multiplier wild symbols that can boost your wins up to 8 times and jackpot symbols (mini, midi & mega) that can award the respective jackpots.
Now that we have an understanding of what we can expect to see on the reels, it’s time to dive in to the added features that are on offer with Grand Spinn.
Grand Spinn Nudge Feature
Upon completing a spin and a winning combination has been awarded, the nudge feature can be triggered. Providing that the top symbol on the first reel matches that of the winning symbol, the reel will nudge 1 space down and the win is awarded again.
The reel will continue to nudge down, accumulating wins from matching symbols and only stop when no more matching symbols or a blank space appears. This process is then repeated for the second and third reels.
Additionally, when a reel stops nudging, an arrow symbol may be present at the top of the reel. If this happens, the reel will be moved to the bottom of the current stack of winning symbols and the wins will be awarded once again!
Grand Spinn Multiplier Wilds
These highly desirable symbols can appear anywhere on the reels and substitute for all symbols except for the arrow and jackpot symbols. If one multiplier wild is part of a winning combination then the win is multiplied by 2, two multiplier wilds will cause the win to be multiplied by 4 and if 3 multiplier wilds are present, the win will be multiplied by 8!
Grand Spinn Jackpots
Arguably, the main reason that players will be drawn to this game is for the multiple jackpots on offer. The way in which they are awarded is if after the nudge feature has finished a jackpot symbol appears at the top of each reel. If these symbols do not all match then the lowest of them will be awarded.
For example, if 2 x Mega Jackpot and 1 x Midi Jackpot symbols are present then the Midi Jackpot will be awarded. This is also true if these symbols land on the single payline during any spin.
The standard version of Grand Spinn offers 3 jackpots: mini, midi and mega. These award 40x, 200x and 10,000x your stake respectively. In the Grand Spinn Superpot version the mini and midi jackpots are the same, but instead of the 10,000x for the mega jackpot, a local progressive jackpot will be awarded if players are lucky enough to hit 3 mega jackpot symbols.
Grand Spinn Bet Limits
The bet limits on Grand Spinn and the Superpot variant are both based around the same coin values and bet levels.
There are 10 coin values available (0.01, 0.02, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1, 2, 5 & 10) and also 10 different bet levels (1-10)
Together these will determine the stake that you will be playing at and the corresponding minimum and maximum bets. In this case, the minimum bet available is €0.02 and the maximum is a massive €200 per spin!
Grand Spinn should appeal to both the conservative player and also those who wish to chance their luck as a high roller.
Grand Spinn Maximum Win
Obviously, depending on which version of Grand Spinn you choose to play, there will be different maximum wins available.
For the purposes of this review, we shall be using the maximum stake available, €200.
In the standard version of Grand Spinn, the maximum win that can be awarded in the base game is 7,040x which equates to a massive €1,408,000! The chances of this happening, however, are extremely slim as it would require a payline full of wilds along with all of the nudges that the game has to offer.
And if the mega jackpot is won, then this will payout 10,000x and result in an enormous €2,000,000!
The Grand Spinn Superpot version offers the same maximum win in the base game as the standard variant. However, as the mega jackpot is linked to a local progressive jackpot, the prize on offer is determined by how many people have played the game as a percentage of each wager contributes to the overall jackpot.
