Joker Wild Video Poker Game Tutorial

Joker Wild video poker is played with 1 hand. Other versions of Joker Wild are available, games with 10, 25, and 50 hands, but we assume the 1 hand version.

Joker Wild uses the original poker hands. An adjustment on the original poker hands is that in Joker Wild the Joker is also used. This can be used as a wild card. The Joker may complete a combination and thus give you more chances at making a winning hand.

How to Play Joker Wild

Poker Hands

The following poker hands are used in Joker Wild video poker:

• Natural Royal Flush: Royal Flush without a Joker.
• 5 of a Kind: 5 cards of the same value completed with a Joker
• Royal Straight Flush: A Royal Straight Flush completed with a Joker.
• Straight Flush: 5 consecutive cards from the same suit
• Four of a Kind: 4 cards with the same value (9, 9, 9, 9)
• Full House: 3 cards of the same value and two cards of the same value (5, 5, 5 and K, K for example)
• Flush: 5 cards from the same suit (5 clubs for example)
• Straight: 5 consecutive cards from different suits
• Three of a Kind: three cards with the same value (K, K, K for example)
• Two Pair
• Kings or Higher: a pair of Kings or Aces, possibly completed with a Joker

Joker Wild Video Poker Bet Limits

You can play Joker Wild with 7 different coin values. These are: 10 cents, 20 cents, 50 cents, 1 euros, 2 euros, 5 euros, and 10 euros. Aside from the coin values there also are 5 different bet levels. So you can bet every coin value up to 5 times. This gives you many different betting options. Joker Wild has the following bet limits:

Minimum bet is a coin value of 10 cents and level 1 = 0.10 euro
Maximum bet is a coin value of 10 euros and level 5 = 50 euros

Pay Table / Win Plan

The Joker Wild pay table can be found on screen twice. In the center you see an overview of all poker hands and their payouts for every level. At the left side of the screen you see a table with the payouts for the level you chose.

Possible Settings

Joker Wild video poker has a number of settings that may be adjusted. You do this by using the two icons you can find at the bottom left of the screen.

The sound can be turned on or off by using the speaker icon.

The wrench icon allows you to also adjust the following settings:

• Sound Effects
• Fast Play
• Always play “Gamble”
• Never play “Gamble”
• Game History (not available in practice games)

Joker Wild Video Poker Manual

Joker Wild video poker is started by setting a coin value you want to play with. This can be done by using the arrows beneath the COIN VALUE button. Then you can adjust the bet level by clicking the BET LEVEL button. When you click this button, the numbers 1 to 5 at the left of the screen show you which bet level you have selected. You can also see the vertical column in the pay table move and the table at the left will be adjusted.

You can also choose to immediately play the highest level by clicking the MAX BET button, the cards will immediately be dealt in this case. You will have to set a coin value. When you are done setting the coin value and bet level, you can deal the cards by clicking the DEAL button. You will get dealt 5 cards. You can keep or discard cards by clicking the HOLD button below each card.

Then you click DRAW and you will get a second round of cards. When you won, you can collect your winnings by clicking the COLLECT button. You can also choose to try to raise your winnings by using the GAMBLE function. Here you will get the choice between two games that both revolve around a closed card in the middle. You can choose the suit of the card or the symbol. As long as your guess is good you can play on, if you guess wrong, you will be returned to the main game. You can always stop in between guesses by clicking COLLECT.
