Caribbean Stud Poker Game Tutorial
Caribbean Stud Poker is played with a standard deck of cards. A new deck of cards is used for every new game. Winning hands are determined according to the standard poker hands that will be explained below.
Poker Hands
Caribbean Stud Poker is played with the following poker hands:
- Royal Flush: 5 consecutive cards from the same suit from 10 to Ace
- Straight Flush: 5 consecutive cards from the same suit
- Four of a Kind: 4 cards with the same value (9, 9, 9, 9)
- Full House: 3 cards of the same value and two cards of the same value (5, 5, 5 and K, K for example)
- Flush: 5 cards from the same suit (5 harts for example)
- Straight: 5 consecutive cards from different suits
- Three of a Kind: three cards with the same value (K, K, K for example)
- Two Pair
- Pair
- Ace + King
Progressive Jackpot
It is also possible to put on money on the Progressive Jackpot in Caribbean Stud Poker. You can see the jackpot at the left side of the screen. The jackpot rises with a percentage of every bet. So, every time someone plays this game, the jackpot will rise until it is won. You can win the jackpot according to certain poker hand:
- Royal Flush: 100% of the jackpot
- Straight Flush: 2500:1
- Four of a Kind: 250:1
- Full House: 100:1
- Flush: 25:1
- Three of a Kind: 5:1
When the progressive jackpot is won, it will restart at a base amount. So, it will never be at zero and you can always something.
Caribbean Stud Poker Bet Limits
In Caribbean Stud Poker you can bet with chips of 1, 5, and 10 euros. These can be bet multiple times and may be combined. The minimum bet is 1 euro and the maximum bet is 40 euros in Caribbean Stud Poker.
Pay Table / Win Plan
The Caribbean Stud Poker pay table of both the progressive jackpot and the main game can be found by moving your mouse over the min/max sign or over the jackpot amount. Payouts are done according to poker hands.
Possible Settings
Caribbean Stud Poker has a number of settings that may be adjusted. You do this by using the three icons at the bottom left of the screen.
The sound can be turned on or off using the speaker icon.
The question mark opens the help screen.
The wrench icon allows you to adjust a few additional settings:
- Sound
- Sound Effects
- Background Music
- Speed
- Game History (not available in practice games)
Caribbean Stud Poker Manual
To start Caribbean Stud Poker you first have to pick a chip and place it in the Ante field of the playing field. Ante is your first bet. If you also want to bet on the Progressive Jackpot, you will also have to place a chip in that field. You can bet up to 40 euros per game. When you are done betting, click DEAL and you will receive five cards. The dealer also receives 5 cards, one of which is dealt open. To the right of your cards you can immediately see what kind of hand you have.
Now you can do one of two things: you can click the FOLD button, in which case you end the round and lose your bet, or you can continue playing. In that case you click BET and a second bet will automatically be placed in the CALL field. The cards of the dealer will be opened and you can immediately see on screen who won. You winnings will automatically be added to your credit.
Now one round of Caribbean Stud Poker has been played and you can begin a new round using the same bet or making a new bet.
