Aliens is a video slot that is built out of 5 separate reels with 3 rows and 15 fixed bet lines. Both the bet level and coin value are adjustable and winning bet lines are formed by identical symbols on a bet line and on adjacent reels from utmost left to the right. As special game features, the video slot has three different game levels (The Search, The Encounter and The Hive) with Symbol Substituting Wilds, multipliers and Re-Spins.
Symbol Substituting Wilds
The Wild symbols in video slot Aliens will create the highest possible winning combination on a bet line. These symbols can appear during the main game (The Search) on reel 2, 3, 4 and 5. Aliens Slot Game Levels
Level 1: The Search
During the “main” game, level 1: The Search, the goal is to collect as much multipliers symbols (x 2 up to x 14) that will be depicted on the Alien Activity Meter above the reels. As soon as 9 multiplier symbols are collected level 2, The Encounter, will be activated and the highest multiplier symbols will be transferred to the second level. However, with every spin that doesn’t generate a winning combination the Alien Activity Meter will decrease with one multiplier symbol.
Level 2: The Encounter
In the second game level the objective is to kill as much aliens as possible to reach level 3, The Hive. With every spin a symbol overlay will appear on the centre positions on reel 1, 2 and 3 (each with its own multiplier, according to the symbols on the Alien activity Meter, and thus guaranteeing at least one winning combination). After each spin Ammo Clips will be randomly granted to kill the attacking aliens with. The amount of Ammo Clips available is depicted on the Ammo Clip Counter on the lower right side of the play screen. As long as there are Ammo Clips a re-spin is granted. If however the player is out of Ammo Clips the alien will “kill” the player, the mission is aborted and the player will return to level 1. In level 2: The Encounter 10 steps need to be completed to pass to the next level: The Hive.
Level 3: The Hive
When all steps of level 2 are concluded level 3, The Hive is activated. In this level the goal is to kill the Queen Alien and her Hive with eggs. A total of 5 re-spins and 4 Ammo Clips are awarded, as well as a grenade to cause as much damage to the Queen and her offspring as possible. All the time aliens will attack and the amount of damage caused is depicted on the Hive Health Meter, consisting of 4 steps, each awarding a coin win. If the Queen and her hive are destroyed a bonus coin win of 240 x the bet is awarded.
